    Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-VA) is circulating a draft bill to federally regulate consumable hemp products—offering a potential alternative to the outright THC  ban that some of his colleagues are pushing in Congress.

    Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity (R), who is running for governor, dodged a marijuana legalization question—saying she doesn’t “have a policy position on it” but arguing that Gov. Josh Shapiro’s (D) budget “way, way overstated” the revenue potential.

    Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) is promoting a psychedelic “listening session” being hosted by state agencies on Wednesday, saying it’s “a great opportunity to share information, hear feedback, and answer questions about the state of the regulated natural medicine program in Colorado.”

    Missouri cannabis activists say that within days they will file an initiative for the 2026 ballot to unify hemp and marijuana regulations, creating parity between the industries with a revised licensing system.

    The Drug Policy Alliance launched a petition pushing President Donald Trump to legalize marijuana—not merely reschedule it as he recently said his administration is considering.

    Acting Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission Chair Bruce Stebbins responded to criticism of regulators’ track record and discussed the future of the state’s legal marijuana industry, including social consumption sites.
