Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) said during his State of the State speech that the “out-of-control” medical cannabis industry is “one of the greatest threats to public safety” and that officials should “send the marijuana issue back to the vote of the people and shut it down.”

The West Virginia House of Delegates and Mississippi House of Representatives both passed bills to support ibogaine research in hopes of gaining federal Food and Drug Administration approval for the psychedelic as a novel treatment option.
