The Latinas in Cannabis Summit returns to Los Angeles on September 27, 2025, marking its third year as one of the most impactful gatherings for Latina professionals and enthusiasts in the cannabis industry. Hosted at The River LA in Frogtown and presented in collaboration with Eaze, the one-day event has become a cornerstone of Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, blending education, empowerment, and community.

High Times is proud to serve as a media partner for this year’s Summit, amplifying a movement that continues to break barriers and open doors for Latinas across the cannabis space.

Since its inception, the Summit has positioned itself as more than a traditional industry event. It’s a space where business deals are made, careers are advanced, friendships are formed, and stigmas are dismantled. With programming designed to confront cultural and gender-based barriers, Latinas in Cannabis creates authentic opportunities for Latinas to thrive, whether as professionals entering the industry, entrepreneurs building brands, or enthusiasts embracing the plant.

    Highlights for 2025

This year’s edition offers a wide range of activations and workshops:

    • Panels and skill-building sessions on cannabis education, finance, executive leadership, sales, entrepreneurship, and motherhood.
    • Onsite cannabis sales showcasing a curated menu of California’s top brands.
    • Latinas Love to Grow Lounge, a dedicated space for home-growing education, including a live interactive workshop.
    • Limited-edition CBX x Latinas in Cannabis Summit 2025 T-shirt printing.
    • Dab Wagon activation, with concentrates education led by Brazilian collective Girls in Green 710.
    • Vendor Village, spotlighting Latina-owned and ally brands.

    Voices of the Movement

For Susie Plascencia, founder and CEO of Latinas in Cannabis, the Summit is of utmost importance. “When I founded Latinas in Cannabis, my mission was to create spaces where Latinas could feel seen, celebrated, and empowered. Three years later, this Summit has become more than a gathering — it’s a movement that proves our community is essential to the future of cannabis,” she said.

Eaze, the presenting collaborator, also highlighted the significance of the event: “For three years, this event has created authentic spaces for connections and opportunity, and we’re honored to celebrate the incredible contributions Latinas are making in cannabis,” the company shared.

Ernst Rustenhoven, CEO of ILGM, which is powering the home-growing lounge, added, “Latinas are essential to the cannabis industry, yet they continue to face systemic barriers to prosperity. With our Grow Club, we’re committed to sharing knowledge, building community, and transforming home growing into a cultural movement that empowers the next generation of women cultivators.”
