    The U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit dismissed a lawsuit filed by marijuana companies that are suing to block enforcement of federal prohibition against their state-legal activities.

    A new federal analysis from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration shows that while men are more likely than women to smoke marijuana, female consumers are more likely to prefer cannabis edibles, drinks and lotions.

    The Ohio Division of Cannabis Control is moving to more than double the amount of marijuana that recreational consumers can legally purchase per day after concluding that “the market has demonstrated the ability to support both medical marijuana patients and non-medical consumers alike.”

    The Colorado Natural Medicine Division announced that the state’s psychedelics “supply chain is complete and the program is fully launched for operations” now that they’ve licensed and inspected businesses of all license types.

    The California Senate Appropriations Committee killed a bill that would have created a psilocybin-focused Veterans and Former First Responders Research Pilot Program to research and develop psychedelic services for target populations with PTSD and other conditions.

    A new poll shows that seven in ten American adults support adding designated marijuana consumption areas at casinos and resorts—and two in five say they would be more inclined to visit casinos if on-site cannabis use was allowed.

    The Nebraska legislature’s General Affairs Committee approved another Medical Cannabis Commission appointee from Gov. Jim Pillen (R) after previously deadlocking on the nomination.

    Washington, D.C. regulators are moving to adopt rules to allow the remediation of medical cannabis products that fail testing.

    Vermont regulators sent guidance about changes to the marijuana business license renewal payment process.

    Minnesota regulators will open a new window for accepting registrations for businesses seeking to sell hemp-derived cannabinoid products on Monday.

    Maryland regulators will host a cannabis business vendor fair on June 6.
