    A federal official with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration pushed back on concerns that adapting oral fluid drug testing for truck drivers would allow them to use marijuana without it being detected.

    The New Hampshire House of Representatives passed bills to legalize marijuana, decriminalize psilocybin and double the amount of medical cannabis that patients can purchase and possess.

    The Maryland Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee approved a House-passed bill to legalize personal manufacturing of marijuana edibles and concentrates by adults.

    A new scientific review on the use of marijuana’s components to treat autism spectrum disorder concludes that “preliminary evidence suggests potential benefits, particularly for anxiety, sleep, and behavior.”

    • “Cannabinoids, particularly CBD-rich formulations, appear to be relatively safe and potentially beneficial.”

    Chris Goldstein of NORML argues in a new Marijuana Moment op-ed that it’s time for Pennsylvania to legalize cannabis and stop arresting so many people for it as neighboring states reap the benefits of ending prohibition.

    The Nebraska Legislature’s General Affairs Committee is waiting to vote on legislation to implement the voter-approved legalization of medical cannabis until an amendment is finalized.

    The Indiana Senate Homeland Security and Transportation Committee approved a bill to ban billboards for marijuana, which the sponsor said is needed due to advertising by cannabis businesses from neighboring Michigan.

    A Delaware senator filed a bill to limit local cannabis business zoning restrictions, saying that one county has “effectively made marijuana illegal,” which is “not what the voters of the state want.”

    Montana lawmakers are considering legislation to restrict marijuana edible serving sizes.

    The Michigan Court of Appeals ruled that a cannabis vendor is liable for sales tax.

    California regulators announced a recall of marijuana products due to labeling that is attractive to children.

    Oregon regulators published a bulletin about reporting thefts from marijuana businesses.

    Minnesota regulators posted a request for proposals for a new cannabis industry training program.

    U.S. Virgin Islands regulators sent an update on the availability of marijuana business license applications.

    New Jersey regulators touted “shorter processing time” for conditional cannabis business licenses.

    Massachusetts regulators will consider marijuana social consumption rules on Thursday.
